Banc Vault
Overview
The Banc Vault is Banc Protocol’s first production-grade application layer product. It provides confidential custody and transfer for tokenized real-world assets (RWAs).
The Vault enables users — individuals, institutions, or funds — to store, transfer, and redeem assets with full regulatory compliance and verifiable privacy.
Where traditional DeFi exposes every transaction, Banc Vault enforces privacy by design:
All balances and ownership data are encrypted.
All transfers are proven valid through zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs).
All compliance checks (KYC/AML, accreditation, limits) are executed automatically through TEE-secured compliance modules.
Design Objectives
Confidentiality
Hide asset balances and counterparties while maintaining verifiable integrity.
Compliance
Enforce KYC/AML and jurisdictional policies programmatically.
Auditability
Generate immutable proof hashes for regulators to verify correctness.
Interoperability
Integrate with existing custodians and on-chain asset frameworks.
Institutional Readiness
Meet operational and regulatory standards for financial entities.
Architecture
The Vault integrates three of Banc’s core subsystems — TEE, PLONK, and the Compliance Engine — into a unified custody framework.
Workflow Summary
User Action — deposit, transfer, or redeem a tokenized asset.
TEE Verification — vault enclave validates user identity and compliance status.
Proof Generation — PLONK engine creates zero-knowledge proof of validity.
Compliance Approval — engine modules confirm policy conformity.
Execution — on-chain contract finalizes the transfer and logs an audit hash.
